When
the time had fully come, God sent his son...
Galater 4, 4
There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
Ecclesiastes 3, 1-8
And I continue with:
A time for Christmas trees and a time for Nativity Scenes,
a time for church buildings and a time for church congregations,
a time for Ministers and a time for preachers,
a time for the child in the manger,
a time for the man on the cross,
a time for the risen one
and a time for all peoples.
And at the end of time:
In that day men will look to their Maker and
turn their eyes to the Holy One of Israel...
Isaiah 17, 7
Look he is coming with the clouds, and every
eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the people of
the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen.
I am the Alpha and the Omega, says the Lord
God, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.
Revelation 1, 7-8
And all who have waited will rejoice when they see him, JESUS:
We know that when he appears, we shall be like
him, for we shall see him as he is.
1. John 3, 2
The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!"
And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let
him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water
of life.
...
He who testifies to these things says, "Yes,
I am coming soon." Amen, Come, Lord Jesus.
